Funeral Services For George W. Daniel, 80, Held Here Wednesday

   Final rites for George W. Daniel, 80, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 
O'clock from Clark's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. John Pasley officiating.  
Burial was in Hendrick Church Cemetery with Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in 
charge of the arrangements.
   Mr. Daniel died at his residence on Matthews Lake Road Monday.  He had been 
a resident of Upson County for 75 years.
   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha Sanders Daniel; two daughters, Mrs. 
Nora Massey, East Point; Miss Brenda Daniel, Thomaston; three step-daughters, 
Mrs. Francis Causey, Macon; Mrs. Louise Pierce, Atlanta; Mrs. Mildred Smith, 
Tucker; three sons, James Daniel, Milledgeville; David Daniel, Warner Robins; 
George W. Daniel, Jr., Thomaston, five step-sons, Joseph Lee Kendrick serving 
with the Air Force in Pensacola, Fla.; Charlie F. Kendrick, serving with the 
Air Force in France; William, John and David Kendrick, all of Atlanta; one 
sister, Mrs. Roseann Showers, Norwalk, Ohio.
