He is survived by his wife and three daughters. He was 76 years old and went from the lower part of this county to Houston about 25 years ago. He enlisted in the Confederacy in Butler in 1862 and was discharged at Appomattox in 1865. He was a member of Company E., Sixth Georgia Regiment.
