Born in Swainsboro, he lived in Warner Robins for the past 40 years and was the son of the late Denson Neal and Mattie Riner Thompson. He was a 1948 graduate of Treveca Nazarene College, receiving a license as a lay preacher. He also received the Air Force's 20 year Certificate of Service Award and was a retired civil service employee of Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of the Warner Robins Senior Citizens and First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors: children, Joseph Devaughn Thompson and Sarah Alsie Thompson Hill, both of North Augusta, SC; brother, Eddie Thompson of Toccoa; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services: 3pm Sunday in the First Church of the Nazarene, Warner Robins. Burial: Magnolia Park Cemetery, Warner Robins. The Rev. David Miller will officiate. Visitation: 7 until 9 tonight in McCullough Funeral Home, Warner Robins. Additional Comments: Lundy was born 9 Oct 1900. Georgia death certificate #030435.
