The Home Journal (Perry, GA), Thursday, 21 June 1883, page 3, column 1
     On last Sunday, the 17th inst., at the residence of Dr. M. H. Means, in 
Hickory Grove district, Mr. Matthew S. Means was married to Miss Leila Hogan, 
all of Houston county.  Dr. Thomas K. Leonard performed the ceremony.
     We congratulate the happy young people upon the step they have taken, and 
hope for them a future life filled with contentment and prosperous good deeds.
