Lorena Tomberlin nursed her during her illness, and married DF Clements after her death. Bertie Clements' grave is raised and unmarked - details and ID given by family members Emmett Clements married Wilma Blount 1/9/1934 Harvey and Minnie Lee Henderson married 1/6/1930 Jimmie Clements died from Leukemia, and Lamar Clements told me she was his "best buddy ever", with a zest and real love of life Elias Clements was returning from his service duty (CSA) and found his son (Cornelius "Neely") lying in a ditch not far from home. Neely was wounded in the war (CSA). Monument at the front gate reads: "On December 6, 1882 this one acre of land was donated by Rachel Clements Clark to assure a proper burial place for her mother, Elinzabeth Turner Clements, the first person laid to rest in this family cemetery. Rachel's act of love and concern has provided a peaceful resting place for her future generations. Heaven awaits those who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior according to his promise of everlasting life. John 3:16, Romans 10:9,10" Lamar Clements told me that the family had recently experienced a house fire when Elinzabeth died, and they buried her on the path between the old, burned home site and the new home site.
