Elder Elliotte Tucker officiated, with burial in the church cemetery. Born Nov. 17, 1912, in Irwin County, Mr. Nash, a prominent Irwin County farmer, was a son of the late Charlie and Martha Anne Harper Nash. He was a member and deacon of Brushy Creek Primitive Baptist Church and Woodmen of the World. He has lived in Irwin County all of his life. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Margaret Tucker Nash of Ocilla; two daughters, Mrs. Bobby (Miriam) Sandiford, and Mrs. Armond (Brenda) Morris, both of Ocilla; one brother, Pearlie Nash of Nashville; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Johnson of Elberton, and Mrs. Blannie Lee McEwen of Stone Mountain, and five grandchildren. Paulk Funeral Home of Fitzgerald was in charge of arrangements.
