OCILLA - Margaret T. Nash, 87, of Ocilla, died Saturday, May 31, 2003, at Tift 
Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in 
Ocilla. Elder Henri Daniel and Elder Elliotte Tucker will officiate. Burial 
will follow at Brushy Creek Cemetery.
Born Feb. 1, 1916, in Irwin County, Mrs. Nash was the daughter of Walton 
Tucker and Nellie Mixon Tucker, both deceased. She was also preceded in death 
by her husband, Lonnie E. Nash; a grandaughter, Stephanie Morris, one brother 
and one sister.
Mrs. Nash lived in Irwin County all of her life and was a homemaker and a 
loving and caring mother and grandmother. She joined Brushy Creek Primitive 
Baptist Church in 1952. She was a former member of the Home Demonstration 
Club, a member of Popeyes Coffee Club and an honorary member of the Future 
Homemakers of America.
Mrs. Nash is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Miriam N. and G.E. 
Barton of Alapaha and Brenda N. and Armond Morris of Ocilla; one brother, 
Thomas Tucker of Ocilla; one sister, Sarah Howell of Ocilla; her 
grandchildren, Jeffrey Sandiford and Jason Morris, both of Ocilla, Jennifer 
Cosper of Lake Park, Jeanine Burton of Sylvester, Melanie Veness of 
Greenville, S.C., and Mark Barton of Tifton; her great-grandchildren, Jessica 
Sandiford, Alan Sandiford, Tyler Cosper, Alexander Cosper, Margaret Anne 
Cosper, Lauren Veness and Morgan Barton; and several nieces and nephews.
Paulk Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
