Mr. Deberry died January 30; he was 86. Rev. Tommy Washington and Rev. Marvin Smith officiated at the 1:00 p.m. service. Interment was held in the Luke Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Harld Deberry, Larry T. Deberry, Sr., Keith Deberry, Randy Reeves, Patrick Talton, Charles Deberry, Albert Deberry, Jeff Deberry, William James Deberry, Larry Deberry, Jerry Deberry and Donnie Deberry. Music was provided by the church choir. Born May 11, 1911 he was the son of the late Albert Deberry and Sarah Gaskin Deberry. He was a member of the Little Flock Baptist where he served on the Trustee Board. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife Joesphie Deberry of Alapaha, seven sons and daughters-in-law: Charles and Madecee Deberry of Opalocka, FL, Albert and Helen Deberry of Miami,FL, Jeff and Beatrice Deberry of Alapaha, William James and Helen Joyce Deberry of Miami, FL, Larry and Shirley Deberry of Ocilla, Jerry Deberry of Augusts and Donnie Deberry of Dallas; three- daughters and sons-in-law: Clyde Whitley of Maryland, Dora Alexandre of Miami and Dorothy and Joe Cargile of Conely; one sister Rebecca Graham of Detroit, MI; two sisters-in-law: Lillie Deberry and Carrie Wilcox; 26 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
