Mary E. Bryant

 The funeral service for Mary E. Bryant of Fitzgerald, who died Monday, 
September 2, 1996 at her residence, was held Thursday, September 5 at 
Callie Garbutt Baptist Church in Fitzgerald. She was 76.
 The service was conducted at 2:00 p.m. with interment in Evergreen 
Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Don Norris,Robby Garrett, Wayne Lan-
easter, Tillman Roberts, and Hugh Latham. Pianist was
Mary Reynolds; Duet: Diane McDonald and Gall Reynolds.
 The deceased was born September 12, 1919 in Gray, GA
to Archie Floyd and Laura Frances Davis Barren. A
member of Callie Garbutt, Mrs. Bryant has lived in the community most of 
her life and was a former employee of Y & W Sportswear Co. and H._R. 
Kaminsky and Sons.
 She is survived by two sons: James "Jim" Bryant of Ab-
beville and Gerald "Jerry"Bryant of Fitzgerald; two
sisters: Grace Kennedy of Oklahoma City, OK·and Willa
Mae Love of Ocilla; 5 grandchildren.
 Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
