Zora Pless

 The funeral service for Zora West Pless of Tifton, who died Tuesday, 
September 17, 1996 at Tift General Hospital, was held Friday, September 
20 at the.
chapel of Abritton-Jones Funeral Home. She was 89.
 Rev. Jim Wiley officiated at the 11:00 a.m. service with interment in 
Tift Memorial Gardens.
 Pallbearers were W. F. Fate,Monty Fate, Mark Pless, Robert Pless, Andy 
Pless, and Joe Pless.
 The deceased was born August 16, 1907 in Crisp coun-
ty, GA to Benjamin and Ola Fate West. A homemaker and
member of Eastside Baptist Church, she had lived in Tifton since 1985, 
moving from Ocilla.
 She is survived by one son:Gene Pless of Corpus Christi,TX; two 
daughters: Mrs. Grady(Madeline) Spillers of Alpharetta and Mrs. Jack 
(Betty) Vickers of Ocilla; one sister: Susie Gradner of Macon. She was the
widow of John L. Pless.
 Albritton-Jones Funeral Chapel was in charge of
arrangements.
