Virgie Patterson Wyatt

Mrs. Virgie Patterson Wyatt of Fitzgerald died Tuesday, December 1, 
1998, at Dorminy Medical Center. She was 85.
Mrs. Wyatt was born May 16, 1913, in Tazewell County, VA, the daughter 
of John Boothe and Kitty .Crouse Boothe.
Mrs. Wyatt was a retired supervisor at Suburban Manufacturing of 
Sylvester. She had lived in Fitzgerald since 1984, moving from 
Sylvester. She was a member of the Young-at-Heart at Arbor Baptist 
Church of Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Wyatt was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Wyatt. .
Survivors include three sons, W. L. Patterson and Henry Patterson, both 
of Fitzgerald and Wayne Patterson of Irwinville; four grandchildren;. 
one brother, Jim Boothe of Bluefield, W.VA, .. and one sister, Bea Jones 
of Tazewell, TN.
Services were held at Arbor Baptist Church of Fitzgerald on Thursday, 
December 3 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. .
Music was provided by pianist! Sheila Carter and soloist, Patrick Patterson.
Pallbearers were Julian Yarbrough, Johnny Street, Johnnie Lee Smith, 
Lonnie Richards, Tracy Parker and Sammy Guy.
Honorary pallbearers were members of Mrs. Wyatt's Sunday School Class,
Interment was held at Salem Cemetery. of Tift County.
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
