 J. C. Thomas

Mr. J.C. Creed Thomas, 85, of Ocilla, passed away Saturday, February 22, 
1997 at his residence on Daisy Road.
 Mr. Thomas was born August 16, 1911 in Floyd County, GA and had lived 
in the community most of his life. He was the son of George W. and Lois 
Estelle Fad Alford Thomas.
 He was a farmer and a member of Ocilla Baptist Church.
 Survivors include his wife, Lona Mae Thomas and several nieces and 
nephews. Funeral services were held Monday, February 24, 1997 at 2:00 
p.m. at Ocilla Baptist Church
with Rev. Phil Wilkes and Rev. Carol Sims officiating.
 Interment followed at Brushy Creek Cemetery in Irwin county.
 Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
