  Mae Tyson Paulk

 Mrs. Mae Tyson Paulk of Ocilla died Saturday, November 28, 1998, at Palemon 
Gaskins Nursing Home of Ocilia. She was 90.
Mrs. Paulk was born November 18,1908, in Willacoochee, the daughter of Jacob 
Randall Tyson and Minnie Lee Howell.
Mrs. Paulk' was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She lived in the Irwin  
County most of her life. She was a member of Ocilla Church of God, where she 
served as pianist.
   Mrs. Paulk was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Paulk.
   Survivors include three daughters Dorothy Roush of Brunswick; Shirley Folds 
and Patricia Smith, both of Fitzgerald; two stepdaughters, Margaret Howell of 
Ocilla and Emily Howell of Gainesville;   two sons William "Billy" Paulk of 
Fitzgerald and Jerry Paulk of Alapaha; 11 grandchildren and 20 great 
grandchildren and one sister, Jewel Floyd of Clearwater, FL.
   Services were held at Ocilla Church of God on Monday,November 30 at 10 a.m. 
with  Rev. Wayne Swanson, Rev.  Charles Blair and Rev. Ricky  Baker officiating.
 Music was provided by soloistst Wanda Ash and Kenny Croft and pianist, Ronnie 
Stringer.
 Pallbearers were Jimmy Tyson, Ronnie Tyson, Frankie Tyson, Paul Bell, Jack 
Till and Tony Holmes.
 Interment was held at Paulk Cemetery of Irwin County.
 Paullr: Funeral Home was in charge of arrangˇements.
