Keith Whitley

The funeral service for Keith Whitley of Ocilla, who died Monday, 
January 19, 1998 in Tallahassee Memorial Regional Hospital, was held 
Wednesday, January 21 at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla. He was 36.
Rev. Charles Nichols and Elder Robert Oates officiated at the 4:00 p.m. 
service with interment in Brushy Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Jones, Wenzel Bryant, Lanny Dean, Lamar Whitley, 
Wyndall Walters, and Walter Portier.
 The deceased was born March 29, 1961 in Ocilla to John Marvin and Joyce 
Jones Whitley. He  attended Pine Hill Baptist Church and had lived in 
the community all his life. He was a avid NASCAR Race Car and racing fan.
He is survived by his father: Marvin Whitley of Ocilla; grandparents: 
Albert and Myrtice Paulk Whitley of Ocilla; several aunts, uncles and 
cousins.
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
