BRUSHY CREEK RITES HELD FOR MR. TUCKER

  The funeral of Mr. Edgar L. Tucker was held Friday, Sept. 9 at Brushy Creek 
Primitive Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
  Elder Chandler Register officiated at the 4 p. m. service.
  Mr. Tucker died suddenly at his home Thursday Morning, Sept. 7.
  Pallbearers were Terry Tucker, Anthony Busbin, Harold Tucker, Danny Tucker, 
Lonnie Nash and Vinton Griner.
  Mr. Tucker was born September 7, 1889 in Irwin county where he had lived all 
his life. He was the son of the late Daniel and Rebecca Harper Tucker, and was 
a member of Brushy Creek Primitive Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edgar L. Tucker of Ocilla; three sons, Lacey 
Tucker of Ormond Beach Fla., Danny Tucker of Fitzgerald, and Elder Elliotte 
Tucker of Ocilla; a brother, Arlie D. Tucker of Ormond Beach, Fla. Nine 
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.
  Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
