She was 83. Mrs. Ross was born April 29, 1915 in Irwin County, the daughter of William and Sarah Tucker. Mrs. Ross was a homemaker, who had lived in the community all of her life. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Union and former Sunday School teacher at Bethlehem Church. Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Ross and R. Sidney Ross, both of Ocilla and Vance Ross of Fitzgerald; one daughter, Ann Brunson of Albany; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, one great-great grandson and one sister, Lillie Woodrum of Ocilla. Services were held Monday, July 13, 1998 at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Irwin County, with Rev. Virgil Vickers and Rev. John Gibbs officiating. Music was provided by pianist, Jenny Paulk and soloist, Moses Clark. Pallbearers were Allen Ross, Charles H. Brunson, Chad Campbell, Jonathan Ross, Sidney Ross, Jr. and Darrell Ross. Honorary pallbearers were Jack Harrell, Waldo Paulk, Lanny Dean, William Cook, George Cook, Hugh W. Roberts, Charles Paulk, W. Emory Walters, Charles W. Ross, Cecil Benson, Gerald Ross, EulasPaulk, Randy Tucker, Keithen Tucker, Burns Tucker, Don Woodrum, Donny Gilder, Ed Wynn and Damon Ross. Interment was held at Bethlehem Cemetery.
