 Minnie A. Harper
Mrs. Minnie A. Harpe died Monday June 15, 1998 at Tift General Hospital. She 
was 95.
 Mrs. Harper was born February 2, 1903 in Coffee County, the daughter of Lee 
and Lucinda Anderson. She
had lived in Fitzgerald for 1 ½ years, moving from Irwin County where she had 
lived most of her life. Mrs. Harper
and her husband were caretakers of Jeff Davis Park for over 22 years. She loved 
to fish, to garden and to grow flowers.
She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church of	Irwin County.	
Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her husband, Loranzo"Ranze" Harper; one 
son,Felton Harper and four broth
ers and three sisters.
Survivors included three daughters, Velma Lott of Fitzgerald, Elneta Hunter of 
Jonesboro and Martha Towson
of Conyers; two Sons, Elmer Harper of Jekyll Island and Huey Harper of Conyers; 
20 grandchildren, 41 great grand
children and 25 great great grandchildren.
