Mrs. Tucker was born January 29, 1921 in Ben Hill County and was the daughter of Ross B. and Vadie Hutchinson Wynn. She had lived in Irwin County most of her life and was a graduate of Ocilla High School. She was a member of Old Valley Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Irwin County. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, RY. Tucker of Ocilla; one daughter, Mary Alice T. Land of Land's Crossing; one son, Tommy Land, Sr. of Land's Crossing; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Bill Wynn of Ocilla. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Wynn and C.M. Wynn. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 25, 1998 at 3:00 p.m. at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla with Rev. Tommy Land, Jr. officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald. Pallbearers were Jerome 'Stripling, Danny Howell, Lonnie Boyd, Gene Chambers, Haynes Wynn, and Randy Roberts. Honorary pallbearers were Dwight Handley, Robert "Buddy" Wynn, Wayne Wynn, David Tucker, Harry Mixon, Larry Young, Kermit Elliott, and Steve Roberts. Patsy Spradlin served as pianist, Mark Stapleton served as soloist and Old Valley Grove singers presented special music. Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. File size: 1.9 Kb
