In the name of God amen. I hardy McGlown of said state and county being of 
advanced age and knowing that I must shortly depart this life deem it right and 
proper both as respect my family and myself that I should make a disposition of 
the property with which a kind providence has blessed me to do that upon make 
this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other one here to fore.  
And I desire and direct that my boddy be berried in a decent and christain like 
manner suatable to my circumstance and condition in life  my soul I trust shall 
return to rest with God who gave it  I hope for Eternal salvation through the 
merces and sacarmemt of the blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whose reign I 
have profess and as I humbly trust enjoyed for thirty years.
Itom  I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by 
executor here in after appointed as I am unwilling that my creditors should be 
delaed in ther rights especially as ther is no nessity for delay
3 Itom I give & bequeath and devise to my beloved wife Joanna Mcglown with whom 
I have lived in the strictest ____? for fifty years household and kitchen 
furniture to her own proper use and benefit and behoof forever with full power 
to dispose of the same at any time previous or by will or deed at her death as 
she may think proper  I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife in the same 
unreserved manor two Negroes Jams a boy about 12 years old and Hester a girl 
about 3 years old
Itom  I give & bequeath to my beloved for an during her natural life only my 
negro boy named Jim about 12 years old Hester a girl about 3 years old free 
from all charges or limitation what ever to her own proper benefit and behoof 
forever with full power to despose of the same at any time previous to or will 
decede at her death as she may think proper  this February 19th 1852

Signed Sealed declared and published by Hardy McGlan as his last will and 
testament in the presants of us subscribed who subscribed our names heretofore 
in the preasants of said testor at his speescial instans and request and of 
each other this February 19 1852
