John Bates and Barbary Crenshaw).Andrew Evans was born in Lumpkin County, Ga., and moved to Jackson County, Ga.Andrew and Sarah ann Hatfield, Evans are buried in Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, in Hoschton Ga. Jackson County. The old Andrew Evans Homeplace is still standing and is currently occupied.It is near Walnut Fork Baptist Church. Carrie Priscilla Evans, Sikes, married Henry Oscar Sikes (H.O. or Oscar)in Jackson County, Ga. on her 18th birthday. She died on June 6,1914, a week after childbirth. thew infant Mary Ruth Sikes 6-1914-7-1914, is buried beside Carrie priscilla Sikes in Walnut Fork Church Cemetery,in Hoschton, Jackson County. henry Oscar Sikes later remarried Neely Virginia Bailey, from Jackson County, Ga. they are buried in Hillcrest Cemetery, in East Point, Ga. Fulton County. They had three other children: Gollie Marie Sikes, Grace Emaline Sikes, and Sarah Ann Sikes. Walnut Fork Church Cemetery is the family Church Cemetery for the family of Andrew Evans and other Evans Family Members. Eliza Etta Evans was a Music teacher and School Teacher, School Principal. She taught Music and School to niece Gollie Marie Sikes. she was also her Principal in School on Hoschton, Ga. Jackson county. Lieucinda Sarah Ann Hatfield was born April 23,1852. she was the daughter of George T. Hatfield and Elizabeth Laney (Betty) Christopher, from Lumpkin County, Ga. Floyd Evans got too hot in the field farming, he drank ice water and died. Harriett Docia Evans died age 16,9-1897 and within a week her sister Maudie Agness Evans died age 10.1897 9-1897 both are buried in walnut Fork church Cemetery.
