Georgia, Jackson County.: Pursuant to an order from the Court of Ordinary of 
said county, will be sold on the first tuesday in September next, at the court 
house door at Jefferson, in said county, within the legal hours of sale, the 
following described property:
150 acres adjoining the Widow Hiner and others, also 100 acres, both on 
Barbour's Creek... sold as the property of William Wallis, deceased, for the 
benefit of the heirs and creditors of said deceased. terms cash )signed) 
NIcholas Wallis, William Wallis, Jr. Administrators. (eldest sons of William)

Additional Comments:
William Wallis died in 1816. His will was not processed till the death of his 
wife, Rachel Wallis (sometimes recorded Wallace) in 1833. Property where they 
lived was not in Jackson County but indian territory when purchased in 1805. 
Property located near Winder, Ga.on Barber Creek.
