1787, December 1 --- This Indenture made between Zachariah Cox of Wilkes County,
Georgia of the one part unto Thomas Holden of Richmond County, Georgia of the
other part, for and in consideration of the sum of 150 pounds Sterling and upon
the delivery of these presents doth grant, sell release and confirm all that
parcel of land containing 690 acres lying in Franklin County, Georgia in the
Continental Reserve on the Walnut fork of Oconee River having such shape as
appeared by plat of same annexed to a grant to said Zachariah Cox signed by his
honor the Governor in Council dated September 13, 1787.
