COX Carrier Additional Comments: Jefferson D. Cox is listed in the 1880 Census in the household of Abram Askins in the 465 District, Jackson County. W.F. Morris resided at a Route 1 Maysville address. While his residence was in the 912 District much closer to Homer than Maysville he was served by a Post Office in Jackson County, a peculiarity which continues today.
