Last services Held Today for Mrs. Cowles

Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Cowles, well-known Commerce, Ga., woman, 
who died Tuesday morning at a private hospital here, will be held at 3 o'clock 
this afternoon from the residence in Commerce, with Dr. F C McConnell, of the 
Druid Hills Baptist church, officiating.  Interment will be in Grey Hill 
cemetery, with Awtry & Lowndes in charge. 

Mrs. Cowles, who was 60 years old, did not become seriously ill until about 
two weeks ago, although she had been in poor health for several years.  She 
was born and reared in Chicago, but moved to Commerce many years ago, and 
resided at the home of Dr. W B Hardeman. 
She is survived by two brothers, G E and Roy Roraback, both of Chicago, and a 
sister, Mrs. Clayton Applegate of Illion, NY.
