Minnie Eulene Morris King, 84, of Commerce, died Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 
at Hill Haven Nursing Home.

She was born on April 22, 1922, in Banks County and was the daughter of the 
late John and Lucy Hubbard Morris. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary 
Baptist Church. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Willie King.

Survivors include two sons, Charles King, Arcade, and Dennis King, Nicholson; 
daughters, Elizabeth Veal and Wanda Baker, both of Maysville, and Diane 
Freeman, Canon; a brother, John Morris Jr., Commerce; sisters, Kitty Roberts, 
Gainesville, and Ruby Buff, Lincolnton, N.C.; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, August 25, at Diamond Hill Baptist Church, 
Maysville, with the Revs. Donald Wilson and Charles Elrod officiating. Burial 
was in the church cemetery.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
