Fannie Mathis
   Braselton – Fannie W. Mathis, of Route 1, died Sunday, June 19, 1994.
   A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Mathis was a daughter of the late Posey West
and Sally Dalton West and was the widow of the late Arlow Mathis.  She was a
homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
   Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce. 
The Rev. Willis J. Moore will officiate.  Burial will be in the Oconee Baptist
Church cemetery.
   Survivors include two daughters, Bessie Adams, Gainesville, and Shirley
Sailors, Eatonton; two sons, Alfred Mathis, Eatonton, and Marvin Mathis,
Braselton; a sister, Ellen Mae McAllister; a half brother, Bud Dalton,
Danielsville; 36 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
   The family is at the residence and will receive friends from7-9 tonight at
the funeral home.
