Rilla Fortson McGinnis, 84, of Nicholson, died Saturday, November 20, 2004, at 
the BJC Hospital following an extended illness.

She was preceded in death by a son Larry McGinnis and two sisters, Eva Mae 
Bray and Ellen Allen.

Survivors include her husband, Hoyt McGinnis, Nicholson; son, Keith McGinnis, 
Nicholson; daughter, Rebecca Vincent, Adairsville; three brothers, Tom Fortson 
and Frank Fortson, both of Colbert; and Carl Fortson, Ohio; three 
grandchildren, Corey Vincent, Tori and Mikkie McGinnis. 

Funeral services were held Monday, November 22, at the Cabin Creek Baptist 
Church with the Rev. Troy Herbert officiating. Burial was in the church 
cemetery.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
