Martha Harmon Bruce, Mauldin February 25, 2002

Martha Harmon Bruce, 83, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002,
in Mauldin. Born in Commerce, Ga., she was the daughter
of the late Hubert Sterling and Laura Wilson Wilbanks.
She was a homemaker and a retired school teacher from
Georgia, and she attended Messiah Lutheran Church. 

Surviving are her son, Francis Carlton Harmon Jr.
and his wife, Marilyn, of Mauldin; two grandchildren,
Joellen Jones, Natalie Jones and her husband Richard;
six  great-grandchildren,  Laura,  Andrew,  Matthew,
Kristin, April and Austin. A grandson, Francis Carlton
Harmon III, predeceased her. 

A funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Messiah
Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Yost III officiating.
Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Gray Hill Cemetery, Commerce, Ga.
The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive.
