BILLY JOE SIMS, 67
Maysville resident
Billy Joe Sims, 67, of Route 1, Box 1054, Maysville, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 
1991, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Jackson County, June 17, 1924, Mr. Sims was the son of Lillie Mealor 
Sims, Maysville, and the late Hoyt O. Sims.   He was a retired automobile 
mechanic from Bolton Chevrolet.   He was a World War II veteran of the U. S. 
Army, 565 Anti-aircraft Group, and a member of Maysville Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife, Lucille McGinnis Sims, Maysville; son, Tommy Joe Sims, 
Maysville; daughter, Terry Wilbanks, Eastman; brothers, Ed Sims, Pendleton, 
S.C.; Jimmy Sims, Oregon; sister, Lillian Smith, Stone Mountain; mother, Lillie 
Mealor Sims, Maysville; six grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at sunrise Cemetery, 
Maysville.   Interment will be in Sunrise Cemetery.
