Tommy Joe Sims, 53, of 8373 Maysville Road died Wednesday, March 14, 2001.

A native of Jackson County, Mr. Sims was a son of Lucille McGinnis Sims, 
Maysville, and the late Billy Joe Sims. He was retired as a sheet metal worker 
and was a member of Maysville Baptist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Sunrise Cemetery, Maysville, with the 
Revs. Brian Stowe, Larry Joe Wilbanks and Jordan Weldon officiating.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Benita Carroll Sims; a 
daughter, Joy Hardy, Commerce; two sons, Jacob Sims and Jason Sims, both of 
Maysville; a sister, Terry Wilbanks, Harriman, Tenn.; and a granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.   
The family is at the residence and will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at 
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce.
