Irene Anderson Sorrow, 69, of Commerce, died Friday, September 1, 2006, at BJC 
Nursing Home.

She was born on September 12, 1936, in Banks County, and was the daughter of 
the late Charlie and Carrie Mize Anderson. She was retired from Blue Bell and 
was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ambray Sorrow, Commerce; a son, Jack Sorrow, 
Commerce; brothers, Q.D. Anderson, Homer, Swayne Anderson and Johnny Anderson, 
both of Commerce; sister, Aleene Sears, Homer; four grandchildren; and three 
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 3, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 
Lula, with the Rev. Ralph O. Smith officiating. Burial was in the church 
cemetery.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
