All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm *********************** This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: "Pattie Causey" ISAAC BORDERS, Book A, page 408 "Georgia Jackson County Know all men by these presents that I Isaac Borders of the county & state aforesaid being of sound & Disposing mind & memory & Knowing the uncertainty of Life Do make this my Last Will & Testament hereby Revoking all former Wills Item 1st It is my Will that my burial Expenses be first paid in Enclosing grave at the Discretion of my Executor Item 2d It is my Will that all my Negroes be Divided amongst my Children John H. Michael A. Enoch H. Polly Thornton Matilda Butler Lucinda Bowden & Anne Wilbanks that they be appraised by Disinterested persons in seven Lots as nearly Equal as practicable & Drawn for Item 3rd all the Remainder of my property both Real & personal I desire ? be sold at publick sale on a credit of twelve months with notes & approved? Security the Land to be sold in such Lots as my Executor shall believe most condusive to the Interest of my Estate Item 4th I give my Executor herein after named in Trust for my three grandsons children of my Daughter Malinda Howard (who is Dead) viz. Jesse John & Virgil Each three Hundred Dollars to be Detained in the hands of said Executor untill they become of age in the Event that any of the Children should Die a minor the survivor or survivors to Inherit the whole of it Item 5th In settling the negroes the amounts Will perhaps be unequal I Desire? they shall be made Equal by money & then all the Remainder of my Estate be Equally Divided between my aforesaid Children viz John H. Michael A. Enoch H. Polly Matilda Lucinda & Anne Item 6th In the Event I should Die after a Crop has been commenced it is my Will that Every thing shall Remain on the plantaion untill the crop is gathered by this I mean after plowing for the new crop has commenced breaking up ground &c Item 7th the property I give to my Daughter Lucinda I hereby Vest in the hands of William Bowden in Trust for his Wife the said Lucinda During Life & at her Death to be Equally Divided amongst all her Children the property I give to my Daughter Matilda I hereby Vest in hands of her Husband General Butler in Trust for her During Life & at her death Equally Divided among her Children the property I give to My Daughter Anne I hereby Vest in the hands of William F. Wilbanks her husband in Trust for his Wife During Life & at her Death to be Equally Divided among her Children Item 8th I hereby nominate my Son Enoch H.
