Jackson County

In the name of God, Amen
I Robert Moon of said county being sick tho
of good mind & memory calling to mind the
certainty of death & the uncertainty of life
do think proper to make this my last will &
testament revoking all other wills
heretofore by me made this only to be my
last will (Viz)

1st  After my burial expences are paid & all
my Just debts it is then my will that all
the remaining part of my property shall
remain together for the support & education
of all my children to be under the care &
guardianship of my executors herein after to
be named untill the youngest child shall
become of lawful age.

Then it is my will that an equal division
shall take place amongst my children & the
negro girl now living at James Millicans on
a loan return home & remain together with
rest of my property untill a division shall
take place as above mentioned.  

2nd  I nominate constitute & appoint my
three sons William Moon; Robert Moon &
Archabald Moon, my executors to carry this
my last will into effect in witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my
seal 14th day of March 1824
