Will dated Dec. 5, 1850, probated & recorded June 5, 1854, pp. 362-363.

"Knowing the certainty of death & the uncertainty of life...I give & 
bequeath to the heirs of MARIAH STOVELL  my Dau. Deceased - a Negro boy 
Peter to them & their heirs forever.  I give & bequeathe to my Dau. 
NANCEY my negro girl ESTHER to her & her heirs & assigns forever.  I give 
& bequeathe to my Dau. HANNAH my Negro boy Tom to her, her lifetime & at 
her death of my Grand Son RHEUBEN L> NASH.  I give & bequeathe to my Dau. 
MARY a negro girl named SARAH to her & her heirs & assigns forever."

"...to my two Daughters NANCEY & HANNAH my Negro woman names CAROLINE & 
all her increase & I also further give to them all the other property I 
claim or am seized in right of without specifying or particularly nameing 
what property I have a right to to them & theirs & assigns forever."
