Jackson County
I Nathaniel Trout being of very low & imperfect health
of body but of sound mind & memory & calling to mind
that is appointed by divine providence for all men once
to die do make constitute & ordain this my last Will &
testament Revoking & disannulling all other wills
heretofore made by me

- I bequeath my soul to almighty God, who first gave it
& my body to the earth from whence it came to be buried
at the discretion of my executors & all my worldly
goods which it has being? pleased God to bless me with
I do give & dispose of in the manner & form following,
viz

Item 1st  It is my will that all my Just debts Should
be paid out of such of my estate as can be the best
spared and the balance of my estate both real &
personal to be kept together untill twelve years from &
after this date hereof then for it to be equally
divided both real & personal between my beloved Wife
Salley Trout, & my six beloved children viz, Elizabeth
H., Tilman, William Herbert, Jeremiah, Jackson, &
Louisa, by sale or otherwise as may best conduce to
their common interest under the superintendence of my
executors

Item 2nd  It is my will & I do hereby constitute &
appoint my beloved wife Salley Trout James Tilman &
Dixon Tilman my whole & sole executors to this my last
will & testament - 

In witness whereof I do hereunto set my hand & affix my
seal the 3rd day of November 1809
