"Know all men by these presents that I Sarah
Trout of the State of Georgia & County of
Jackson for & in consideration of the
natural love & affection which I have & bear
to my Grand Daughter Arabella Shaw & also
for dives other good causes & considerations
me hereunto moving, have given granted &
confirmed & by these presents do give grant
& confirm unto the said Arabella Shaw two
negroes (Viz) Charles a boy about two Years
old & Caroline a girl about one Year of age,
To have & to hold & enjoy all & Singular the
said negroes aforesaid unto the said
Arabella Shaw her executor administrators &
assigns to the only proper use & behoof of
the said Arabella Shaw her executors
administrators and assigns forever and the
said Sarah Trout for myself my executors &
administrators & all & every other person &
persons whatsoever Shall & will warrant &
forever defend by these presents  In Witness
Whereof

I have hereunto Set my hand & Seal this 9th
day of March 1831
