Randolph Superior Court
February Term 1811

Upon the petition of Harley Attaway stating that he was in possession of a bond 
made by Tyre Kelly to Anthony Lewis for the sum of Five Hundred dollars which 
bond was indorsed to the said Harley Attaway having made oath that the same has 
been destroyed by fire and deposited a copy hereof as near as he sustends in 
the clerks office of the county. On motion of Wm. Cook attorney for the 
petitioner it is ordered, that the said copy be established in lieu of the said 
original bond unless good cause be shown to gainsay (deny) the same on or 
before the first day of next term of (court) and it is further ordered that 
this rule be published in one of the public gazettes of this state once a month 
for the term of six months
