SAMUEL BURNETT  TO  RADFORD ELLIS 

State of Georgia
This Indenture made the twenty fifth day of November in the year of our Lord 
one thousand eight hundred & nine between Samuel Burnett of the County of Glynn 
and state aforesaid of the one part & Radford Ellis of the County of Randolph 
State aforesaid Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Three 
hundred dollars to him the said Samuel Burnett well and truly paid at or before 
the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged the said Samuel Burnett hath bargained sold and aliened convey’d 
and confirm’d and by these presents do bargain and sell alien convey & confim 
unto the said Radford Ellis all that tract lot or parcel of land containing two 
hundred two & a half acres situated lying & being in the eighteenth district 
formerly Baldwin County now Randolph buting & bounding northeast of lot No. 121 
southwest by lot No. 125 southeast by lot No. 105 and northwest by lot No. 123, 
which tract lot or parcel of land is known and distinguished in the plan of the 
said district by the number 122 having such shape form and marks as appear by a 
plat of the same with said tract or lot of land was drawn in the late land 
lottery by Mary King of the county of Glynn aforesaid.

Together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof 
whatsoever to the said tract lot or parcel of land belonging or in anywise 
appertaining to have and to hold the said tract lot or parcel of land and all 
singular the premises as aforesaid with their and every of their rights members 
and appurtenances unto the said Radford Ellis his heirs and assigns and their 
own proper use and behoof forever and the said Samuel Burnett for himself his 
heirs and every of them the said bargained premises with every part and parcel 
thereof do by these presents warrant & ever defend the same unto the said 
Radford Ellis his heirs and assigns forever.

In witness whereof the said Samuel Burnett have hereunto set his hand & the day 
& year first above written.
