W. F. Jordan duly constituted Administrator of the Estate both real & personal of Isabella Spear, late of said county deceased by virtue of an order of the Court of Ordinary of Jasper County, granted at the regular December term 1884 of said court notice of application for said order having been previously published in terms of the law, after advertising the same for sale in terms of the law, did on the first Tuesday in January 1885 within the legal hours of sale put up & expose for sale at public outcry, before the court house door at Monticello in the County of Jasper, the said Estate herein after described, when the same was knocked off to John A. J. Spear of the County of Jasper, being the highest & best bidder at the price of thirty seven dollars. Now for & in consideration of the said sum of thirty seven dollars cash in hand paid by the said John A. J. Spear, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. The said W. F. Jordan as administrator as aforesaid have granted, bargained & sold & do by these presents grant, bargain & sell so far as the Office of Administration autherized him unto the said John A. J. Spear. The following described real Estate to wit - one hundred acres of land more or less, situate, lying & being in said State & County, adjoining lands of W. P Middlebrooks, Brown Sanders, D. M. Langston & other lands of the Estate of the late Isabella Spear dec'd ^ to have & to hold the same together with all the rights members & appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said John A. J. Spear his heirs & assigns forever in as full & ample a manner as the same was Sured, possesed & enjoyed by the said Isabella Spear at the time of her death. In witness whereof the said W. F. Jordan as Administrator and aforesaid have hereunto set his hand & affixed his seal this 9 day of January 1885. Signed, Sealed & delivered in presence of J. A. Holland W. F. Jordan Admn John H.
