All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Gene Funderburk GeneFunderburk@msn.com August 10, 2003, 11:14 am Lot 129/ District 12 Written: January 29 1828 Recorded: February 2 1829 Georgia Jasper County Know all men by these presents that Gatewood Dunn of state and county before said for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars to me in hand paid by William Taylor of the same place have granted bargained and sold and by these presents hath grant bargained sold and release unto the said William Taylor all and singular my write title and intrust to a certain tract or parcel of land containing ninety acres more or less this said Land lying and being situated in the county aforesaid in the 364 District it being the Plantation whereon Henry Head formerly lived and this same being the west part of Lot 129 and bounding as follows that is to say on the East by Jeptha Alford, on the North by Lewis Spear and the West by Francis N. Taylor and on the South by a lot known by the name of Booths lot together lot containing ninety acres more or less and land lying in the twelth district originally Baldwin first now Jasper County beginning on the district line and hickory corner and following the South E. line to the first branch thence down mainland of said branch to a Forest Gum thence a straight line to the spring thence down the creek to the original line thence the beginning corner and the said Henry and Seaborn Jones defer themselves their heirs and assigns warrant and forever defend all and singular the rights and members appertaining and appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in any wise Incident(?) or appertaining unto the said Francis N. Taylor his heirs assigns forever and from the just and lawfull claim of all and every other person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof in witness we have hereunto set our hands and seals this day and dates first above written. Signed and acknowledged in Henry Jones presence of Lewis Spear Henry Head Georgia Jasper County Personally appeared Henry Head before me the presiding(?) Justice and on oathe said that the same Henry Jones sign, seal and as his act & deed deliver the written instrument or deed of conveyance to Francis N. Taylor for the use and purpose written mention afore then saith that present Lewis Spear sign his name as concuring witness together in the presents of to the same before me this 29th January 1828.
