Taylor Lot 207 Dist. 11/Lot 129 Dist. 12 Written: December 10 1855 Recorded: June 2 1858 State of Georgia Jasper County This indenture made the tenth day of December in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and fifty five between John F. Weathersly of the State and county aforesaid duly constitute administrator of the Estate of Frances N. Taylor late of said State and county deceased of the one part and Michael M. Toland of the same place of the other part.- Witnesseth that whereas (?) an order granted by the Honorable Court of Ordinary of said county previous notice of application having been given agreeably to the Statute in such cases made and provided on the first Monday in October last to said John F. Weathersly administrator as aforesaid to sell a tract of Land belonging to the estate of said deceased. Situate lying and being in the county aforesaid known and distinguished as a part of Lot number two hundred and seven in the eleventh district containing one hundred and forty and a half acres more or less (one half acre for grave yard excepted) and bound as follows beginning at a hickory corner thence North to a pine corner thence North East to a black oak stake thence Southeast to a hickory corner thence West to a hickory corner thence to a hickory the beginning corner said tract of Land lying on the waters of White Creek. Also part of Lot one hundred and twenty nine (vis) a part of the West half of said lot in the twelth district of said county containing nine acres more or less bound as follows (vis) begin at a hickory corner on the district line and follow the district line to the first branch thence the meanders of said spring branch to a sweet gum and thence a straight line to the spring thence down the meanders of said spring branch to the creek thence down the creek to the original line thence to the beginning corner. Also eighty four acres more or less adjoining Land of William Barclay and Michael M. Toland in county aforesaid once occupied by Amy Castello and since sold by the sheriff of said county as the property of James McClinden all of the above named tracts of Land containing two hundred and twelve or fifteen acres more or less with the rights members and appertanances thereto belonging after said tract of Land was duly advertised in conformity to law the same was put up and exposed to sale to the highest bidder at the door of the court house at Monticello in said county within the legal hours of sale on the first Tuesday in December (last) by said John F. Weathersly administrator as aforesaid, when said tract of land was knocked off to said Michael M. Toland at the price or sum of one thousand and one dollars he being the highest and best bidder. Now for and in consideration of the said sum of one thousand and one dollars in hand paid in promisary bonds due twelve months after to said John F. Weathersly administrator as aforesaid by him Michael M. Toland at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged said John F. Weathersly administrator as aforesaid hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Michael M. Toland his heirs executors administrators and assigns the said tract of Land with all the rights members and appurtanances theseto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto him said Michael M. Toland his heirs executors administrators and assigns to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. In Witness whereof the said John F. Weathersly administrator as aforesaid hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year above written. Interlined before signed Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of John F.
