State of Georgia Jasper County} This Indenture made this tenth day of August 
1819. Witnessith that I Mordica Hill of the State and County aforesaid have 
for and in consideration of the natural affection which I bear my daughter 
Sarah Hail of the State and County aforesaid doth give and grant and by these 
presents do give and grant unto her the said Sarah Hail a Certain tract tract 
(sic) or parcel of land lying and being in the twelvth (sic) District of 
Baldwin at the time of survey now Jasper County it being part of lot No. 129 
of said District beginning at a pine corner on Jones' line thence running with 
said to a gum from thence to a dogwood from thence to the spring on said lot 
thence running with said Spring branch to the line on Jones' land thence to a 
hickory corner on Mells lot thence to a post oak corner on said lot thence 
across said lot to a hickory corner thence running with said line to the first 
situation. Containing by estimation one hundred acres be the same more or less 
and I the said Mordica Hill do give grant confirm and convey the above 
described tract of land unto Sarah Hail for the affection I bear her as my 
daughter but retaining the full use and possession of said tract of land 
during my life time and at my death the said Sarah Hail will take full 
possession of the above tract of land by virture of this deed of gift. I the 
said Mordica Hill do warrant the above tract of land unto the said Sarah Hail 
her heirs and assigns forever against my self my heirs or assigns and all 
other persons or persons whatever all the right of my daughter Sarah Hail to 
the above mentioned tract will take place at my death and not till then. In 
witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the date above written.
