This Indenture made in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and 
twelve and in the thirty fifth year of the independence of the United States of 
America between James Grace of the County of Randolph and state aforesaid of 
the one part and Daniel Tucker of the same County & State aforesaid of the 
other part Witnesseth that James Grace for the sum of Twelve hundred dollars to 
me paid by the said Daniel Tucker have bargained & Sold a certain tract or lot 
of land lying in the Seventeenth district of Randolph County when drawn Baldwin 
County drawn by Thomas Grace of No. (sic) of Tatnall (sic) County _________ 
district No. Seventy Containing Two hundred two and a half acres more or less 
and I the said James Grace as for myself my heirs Executors administrators & 
assigns and against all other persons whatsoever do warrant & forever Defend 
the said lott (sic) of land unto the said Daniel Tucker his heirs Executors 
administrators and assigns forever the said lott of land lying on the water of 
Wises Creek in fee simple  In Witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal 
this 13th day of March 1812

being Duly sworn deposeth & saith that he saw James Grace & Leacy [Lucy ?] 
Grace sign the above Deed for the purposes above mentioned Sworn to before me
