This Indenture made this fourth day of March in the yier (sic) of our lord 
(sic) one Thousand Eight hundred and Eight the Thirty Second year of the 
Independance (sic) of United States of America Between Thos. Grace Seyr. of 
Randolph County & State aforesaid of the one part and James Grace of the same 
State and County of aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Thos. 
Grace for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred Dollars to him in hand 
paid at & before the sealing & delivery of these presence (sic) Rec’t whereof 
is hereby acknowledged hath and by these presence (sic) doth grant bargain sell 
Release Convey & Confirm unto the said James Grace his heirs & assigns a 
certain Tract or parcel of land containing Two Hundred Two & an (sic) half 
acres more or less lying & being in the Seventeenth District known by No. 
Seventy drawn by the said Thos. Grace Seyr. situated in Randolph County when 
drawn Baldwin County surveyed Sixteenth day of February one thousand Eight 
hundred & seven by Ed B. Jenkins surveyor & I Thos. Grace Seyr. hath for myself 
my heirs & assigns do warrant & forever defend the said lot of land unto the 
said Jas Grace his heirs & assigns forever to him his only use to him his heirs 
forever & I Thos. Grace do warrant & defend the said lot of land from me my 
heirs & from all other persons whatsoever I Witness hereof I have hereunto set 
my hand & affix my seal the day & year first above

Thos. Grace Seyr. assign the within deeds & that he saw Nancy Blesset assign 
her name with him as a witness
