All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Beth Collins http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00011.html#0002523 January 4, 2009, 5:02 pm Written: September 4, 1815 Recorded: September 12, 1815 Jasper County, Georgia Deed Book 6, pp. 550-551 This Indenture made this 4th of September Anno Domino one thousand Eight Hundred and fifteen between Andrew Kennedy of the State of Georgia Jasper County and Richard Pratt of State of North Carolina Wilks County Witnesseth that the said Andrew Kennady for and in consideration of the Sum of one thousand dollars to him in hand paid by the said Richard Pratt the Rect hereof the said Andrew Kennady doth hereby acknowledge and my self fully satisfied and paid hath Granted bargained sold conveyed and confirmed and by these presence fully freely clearly and absolutely grant bargain sell confirm and convey unto the said Richard Pratt his heirs and assigns forever a Tract of Land containing Two Hundred and Eight Acres be the same more or less lying and being in the county of Wilks and state of North Carolina on ____ of the head waters little Bugabo and Big Bugabo beginning at a Red Oak on the West side of a Small Branch Runing thence East Two hundred and Eight poles to him and post oak then North one hundred and Sixty poles to a pine and oak sapling then west two hundred & eight poles to three pines then South one hundred and Sixty poles to the first station Together with Every right title privalidge and _______ To said land belonging or otherwise appertaining and the said Andrew Kennedy doth hereby bind himself his heirs and Executors & administrators well and truly to warrant and forever defend the said premises with all the appurtenances to him the said Richard Pratt his heirs & assigns forever free and clear from all incumbrances and claims whatsoever In Testimony hereof the said Andrew Kennady hath hereunto set his hand & seal the day and year above written Signed sealed & delivered in the presents of Jno.
