GEORGIA         )  This Indenture made and agreed upon this third day 
Elbert County   )  of Jan. one thousand eight hundred and nine between 
                )  Joseph Moore & Agness his wife of the County
& State aforesaid of the one part & James Moore of the County & State 
aforesaid of the other part.  Witnesseth that the said Joseph Moore & 
Agness his wife hath for & in consideration of the sum of four 
hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said James Moore the 
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath Bargained & sold 
confirmed & by these presents do Bargain & sell & confirm unto the 
James Moore his heirs & assigns all that Track or lot of land known 
by No. 110 Baldwin 17th District having marks & forms agreeable to a 
plat and grant granted to the Said Joseph Moore by his Excelency 
         Irwin on the Twenty Eighth day of October Eighteen Hundred 
& Eight to have and to hold the said land and
from the claim or claims of all persons forever as Witness our hands 
and seals this day & date as above writen

I Agnes Moore the wife of Joseph Moore do freely & without contraint 
have assigned the within Deed of conveyance given from Joseph Moore 
my present husband to James Moore & I do hereby Renounce all calim of 
Dower that I might claim after the death of my present husband Taken 
and assigned before me this 3rd day of January 1809
