This Indenture made and entered into this yhe (sic) 8th day of August, 1922, between C.D. Jordan, W_H.Key, and C.H.pope, (sic) Commissioners, as hereinafter recited, as parties of the first part and George C. Stinson of said county as party of the second part; Witnesseth: That, Whereas, on the 14th day of February, 1922, said commissioners were duly appointed by the Superior Court of Jasper County in the suit of George C. Stinson v. John Stinson et al, No. 1719, pending in Jasper Superior Court, to exp e (sic) to sale the property hereinafter described; And, whereas, in pursuance of the order and judgment of the Court, said commissioners did expose said property for sale on the 4th day of April, 1922, when George C. Stinson was the highest bidder for both tracts of said property as set out in a report of said commissioners filed to the court, and dated the 4th day of April, 1922, and duly filed in the Clerk’s Office of said Court: And, whereas, said report came on to be heard at the August Term, 1922, of Jasper Superior Court and the same was by the Court then and there confirmed and the sale of the property therein referred to the said George C. Stinson then and there confirmed and said commissioners ordered to make deed to the said Stinson under the order of the Court; Now, therefore, the premises considered, for and in consideration of the sum of $6,000.00, credited and applied as directed and adjudged by the Court in an order dated the 7th day of August, 1922, confirming said report and said sale, the said commissioners hereby sell, alien and convey to the said George C. Stinson, his heirs and assigns the following described property to-wit: A certain city lot, with all improvements thereon in the City of Monticello, Jasper County, Georgia, bounded North by lands of J. L. Campbell, East by Forsyth Street, South by Green Street and West by lands of M. S. Benton, and being the lot of land where the brick hotel, known as the Monticello Hotel, now stands, said tract or parcel of land estimated to contain two and one half acres, more or less; it being the purpose of this conveyance to convey to the said George C. Stinson all of said hotel property described in a certain deed from the Monticell Hotl (sic) Company from G. W. Stinon (sic) and Mrs. N. C. Stinson, recorded Deed Book “O” page 288, Clerk’s Office Jasper Superior Court, and including that property conveyed by the said Mrs. N. C. Stinson to the said George C. Stinson by deed dated November 22, 1919, recorded Deed Book “S” page 323, Clerk’s Office, together with the balance of all that property not covered by this deed and which was conveyed as aforesaid by the Monticello Hotel Company to the said G.W.Stinson and Mrs. N. C. Stinson by the aforesaid deed recorded Deed Book “O” page 288, Clerk’s office Jasper Superior Court. To have and to hold the said described property unto the said George C. Stinson,his heirs and assigns in fee simple forever so that none of the former tenants in common of the saidproperty (sic) as recited in the petition in the bove (sic) referred to case, whether the same be in esse or not, shall ever hereafter have any right, title, or claim or demand in and to said property or any part thereof.
