D. Eighteen hundred and twenty four, between William Tucker of the one part and Simeon Dearing of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said Tucker for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred dollars, to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, sold, and conveyed, and by these presents doth bargain, sell and convey unto Simeon Dearing, his heirs and assigns, a certain parcel or tract of land lying and being in the fifteenth district of formerly Baldwin (now Jasper County) containing fifty acres, more or less, being part of Lot No. (56) fifty six in said Dist. lying on the waters of Murder Creek, bounded as follows, viz. at a pine corner, running from thence to the original line cornering on an oak, thence a new marked line, to a white oak, from thece a new marked line to a pine stake, and from thence to the original line to the beginning corner, the same lying and being in the East corner of said lot. To have and to hold all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said Simeon Dearing his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple. And I the said William Tucker for myself my heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the rights and title thereof unto the sd. Simeon Dearing his heirs and assigns against my own claims or that of any other person or persons whatsoever. In Witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and affixed my seal this the day and date above written.
