Jones, William J.  private  May  1, 1862 . Pension records show he was
wounded through left breast at Centerville, Md. in 1864 . Captured at
Harrisonburg, Va. October  2 or 9, 1864 . Sent via Point Lookout, Md. to
Aiken's Landing, Va. March  28, 1865 , and exchanged March  30,1865 . (Born
in Jasper County, Ga. August   19, 1833.)
