The Georgia Enterprise, July 1, 1887
  Mrs. J. T. Barker, from near Eudora, Jasper county, died at the residence of
Dr. J. C. Clark, in this place, on last Friday afternoon. She came here for 
medical treatment under Dr. Clark, but died in about an hour after reaching this
place. Aged about 17 years. Her remains were carried to Eudora on Saturday for
interment.
